Bingham University, located along the Abuja–Keffi Expressway in Nasarawa State, is a private Nigerian university established by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA). For the 2026/2027 academic session, the university has published an official schedule showing the total fees payable by students across its undergraduate programmes and levels.

The amount payable varies considerably depending on the course and level. Professional programmes such as Medicine, Law, Pharmacy and Nursing generally have higher charges, while several Humanities, Science and Social Science programmes have lower fees.

Are Bingham University School Fees the Same for Freshers and Returning Students?

No.

One of the most important things to understand about Bingham University School Fees is that 100-level students often have a different total fee from returning students.

For example, Computer Science is listed at ₦1,497,500 for 100 level but ₦1,217,700 for 200–400 level. English is ₦905,000 for 100 level compared with ₦668,600 for 200–400 level.

This difference means prospective students should always check the fee applicable to their specific level rather than using a general figure.

Does Bingham University Have Additional Charges?

Students should distinguish between the published total fees and expenses that may arise outside that figure.

Depending on their circumstances, students may still need to budget for:

Transportation
Personal accommodation-related needs
Textbooks
Laptop or computer
Internet/data
Personal items
Medical or health-related personal expenses
Academic materials
Department-specific requirements where applicable

The exact treatment of accommodation, feeding and other services should be confirmed directly from the university’s current payment information.

Do not assume that every expense associated with university life is included in the published total fee.

Scholarships and Fee Reductions at Bingham University

Another important consideration for prospective students is financial assistance.

Bingham University has previously published scholarship and fee-rebate schemes. Its university bulletin has listed schemes including support for indigent students, children of ECWA pastors and other categories.

However, scholarship terms can change between academic sessions.

Therefore, students should confirm whether a particular scholarship or discount applies to the 2026/2027 session, its eligibility conditions and whether it covers all or only part of the fees.

A scholarship should never be assumed to be automatic simply because it appeared in an older university publication.

How to Confirm Your Bingham University Fees

Students should always confirm their individual financial obligations before making payment.

A practical process is:

Visit the official Bingham University website.
Access the student or admission portal where applicable.
Check the 2026/2027 fee schedule.
Confirm your department and level.
Review the total amount displayed.
Check whether any additional payment is required.
Follow the university’s approved payment instructions.

Confirm the beneficiary before payment.
Keep receipts.
Do not share banking PINs or OTPs.
