Is LASUED Admission List Out for 2026/2027?
The honest answer depends on the day you are reading this. LASUED opened online registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening from 1 June to 5 July 2026. That exercise comes before the list. After screening, the school ranks candidates by their scores and recommends the successful ones to JAMB.
As at 16 October 2026, we could not find any official notice on lasued.edu.ng announcing that the full merit list for 2026/2027 has been released. Some blogs claim the LASUED admission list is already out, but many of them mix up the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 sessions. Do not believe any website blindly, including ours. Check your own result on the school portal and on JAMB CAPS.
Last session, LASUED published its 2025/2026 list on the school portal and also started uploading names on JAMB CAPS. The 2026/2027 list will most likely follow the same route.

| Indigeneship verification for Lagos indigenes | Announced for 2026/2027 | Follow the school’s notice |
We will update this table whenever LASUED makes a new official announcement.
Has LASUED Started Giving Admission?
The admission process has started, but you must understand what that means. LASUED has advertised its 2026/2027 admission, collected applications and finished the online screening. Those are the first steps of admission.
However, a started process does not mean you have been admitted. Admission becomes real only when LASUED recommends your name and the offer shows on JAMB CAPS, where you must accept it. Seeing your name on the LASUED admission list or on JAMB CAPS is the only real proof. A message from a friend, an agent or a random website is not proof.
When Will LASUED Start Giving Admission?
LASUED has not announced any fixed date for releasing the LASUED admission list. In Nigerian universities, the list normally comes after the screening committee finishes scoring and the senate approves the result. Many schools then release names in batches, starting with the highest scorers.
Because no date is published, you should not trust anyone who promises you an exact day. The best thing is to check your portal and JAMB CAPS every few days. Also follow the school’s verified social media pages and the news section of its website.
When Will LASUED Stop Giving Admission?
LASUED itself has not published a closing date for the LASUED admission list or for admission as a whole. The final deadline for admitting candidates in a session is controlled by JAMB, which announces the closing of its admission processing every year. Schools must finish before that date.
In simple terms, admission can continue in batches as long as there are vacant spaces and JAMB has not closed CAPS for the session. Once JAMB closes it, no school can legally admit new candidates for that session. So do not relax if you missed the first batch, but do not wait forever either.
LASUED Admission Portal
The LASUED admission portal is found on the school’s official website, lasued.edu.ng. It is where candidates registered for screening, made payment and later see their result. Once the LASUED admission list is uploaded, your status will show after you log in.
In the previous session, candidates logged in with their JAMB registration number as username and their surname as password. Use the same method unless the school gives a new instruction for 2026/2027.
A few important points about the portal:
- Type the web address yourself or use the link on the school’s official page. Do not click strange links sent on WhatsApp.
- Keep your JAMB registration number and your screening details safe.
- If the portal is slow, try again late at night or early in the morning, when fewer people are online.
- Never share your login details with an “agent”.
How to Check the LASUED Admission List
There are two main ways to check. Use both, because the portal and JAMB CAPS may not update at the same time.
Method 1: Check on the LASUED Portal
- Go to lasued.edu.ng and open the admission or screening portal.
- Enter your JAMB registration number.
- Enter your surname as the password, unless the school says otherwise.
- Click login and look for your admission status.
If the portal says your status is “in progress”, the LASUED admission list may not have reached your name yet. Be patient and check again later.
Method 2: Check on JAMB CAPS
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng.
- Log in with your email and password.
- Click “Check Admission Status”.
- Select “Access my CAPS” and read the result.
If LASUED has offered you admission, you will see “Admission Offered” or a similar message. You can then accept or reject it.
Types of LASUED Admission List
Candidates often get confused because the school may release names in different ways. The table below explains the common types.
| Type of list | Meaning | Who benefits |
|---|---|---|
| Merit (first batch) | Names of candidates with the best combined JAMB and screening scores | Top scorers for each course |
| Supplementary or second batch | Names added when candidates reject or do not take up their offers | Candidates just below the first cut-off |
| Direct Entry list | Names of NCE, ND or A’Level holders admitted into 200 Level | DE candidates who passed screening |
| Special or discretionary admissions | Cases approved by management under school rules | Candidates covered by the school’s policy |
Your course, score and the number of available spaces decide the batch in which your name appears.
LASUED Admission Requirements 2026/2027
To be considered for the LASUED admission list, you must meet the conditions in the school’s notice. Here are the main ones.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| UTME score | At least 185 for UTME candidates, as stated in the school notice |
| O’Level result | Five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings |
| Accepted O’Level results | WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS or GCE |
| Direct Entry | Candidates, especially NCE holders, who chose LASUED as first choice |
| Choice of school | LASUED must be your first choice on JAMB |
| Age | At least 16 years by 1 October 2026 |
| CAPS upload | O’Level results uploaded on JAMB CAPS on or before 17 July 2026 |
| Screening | You must have completed the online screening exercise |
What to Do If Your Name Is on the List
Congratulations if you see your name! Do not just celebrate. Take these steps quickly:
- Accept the admission on JAMB CAPS. Log in and click accept. Your admission is not secure until you do this.
- Print your JAMB admission letter from the official JAMB portal.
- Pay the acceptance fee only through the official school portal, and keep your receipt.
- Complete clearance. You will bring your original documents, such as O’Level results, birth certificate and passport photographs.
- Do the medical examination if the school requires it.
- Lagos indigenes should follow the indigeneship verification exercise that LASUED announced for 2026/2027.
- Register your courses and pay school fees before the deadline.
Read every instruction on the school portal carefully. Missing a deadline can cost you the admission.
What If Your Name Is Not on the LASUED Admission List?
Missing the first LASUED admission list does not mean the end. Many candidates get their offers in later batches. Still, it helps to know why a name may not appear. Common reasons are in the table below.
| Possible reason | What you can do |
|---|---|
| LASUED was not your first choice on JAMB | Check your JAMB profile and, if possible, follow JAMB’s approved correction process |
| O’Level result was not uploaded before 17 July 2026 | Confirm your upload status on JAMB CAPS and contact the school’s admissions office |
| You missed or did not finish screening | Ask the admissions office whether any late window exists |
| Your score is below the course cut-off | Consider a less competitive course if JAMB allows a change |
| Spaces are limited for your course | Keep checking for supplementary batches |
Remember that rushing to pay an “agent” is the worst thing to do. Use only official channels for any complaint.
Beware of Admission Scams
Every admission season, fraudsters take advantage of anxious candidates. No lecturer, agent or “insider” can add your name to the LASUED admission list for money. Admission in Nigeria is processed on JAMB CAPS, and any offer must reflect there.
Protect yourself with these simple rules:
- Never pay anyone to “upload” your name.
- Do not send your login details to anybody.
- Pay school charges only on the official portal, and keep every receipt.
- Be careful with fake PDF lists shared on social media.
- Report suspicious people to the school and to the police.
Tips to Improve Your Chances
- Check only official sources for the LASUED admission list, and ignore rumours.
- Make sure your O’Level result is uploaded and your biodata matches on JAMB and the school portal.
- Keep your phone number and email active, because the school and JAMB may send messages.
- Prepare your original documents early, so clearance will be smooth.
- Have a backup plan, such as another school or a Direct Entry route, if the offer does not come.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Is the LASUED admission list for 2026 out?

No. Do not pay anyone. Real admission must appear on JAMB CAPS, and paying agents is a common way people lose money.

You will likely not be considered, since screening was compulsory. Ask the admissions office whether there is any late window, but do not expect one.

14. Where can I get official LASUED updates?
Use the official website, lasued.edu.ng, and the school’s verified social media pages. Ignore unverified WhatsApp messages.
Conclusion
The LASUED admission list for 2026/2027 follows a clear order: JAMB UTME, LASUED screening, ranking by scores, then upload of successful names to JAMB CAPS. The screening window closed on 5 July 2026, so the next important thing is the release of results. Since we could not confirm an official release at the time of writing, keep checking your LASUED portal and JAMB CAPS.
Stay calm, avoid scammers and complete every step on time once your offer shows. We will update this article as soon as LASUED shares new information.
